Parents teacher Meeting Script

Teacher: Good evening, thank you for coming in Mr…….!

FATHER: My pleasure, so how is my son doing in his lessons?

Teacher: Well, there are a few issues I would like to discuss.

Father: Ah, that doesn’t sound too good. Which subject shall we start on?

Teacher: I shall start with the good news. His recent exams result, is amazing! As you probably know from the report he has achieved “A” grade in English. He has a limitless amount of writing skills. He also is a good sportsman and a team player. Though sometimes when playing football, he gets a bit rowdy and loud. But that is his character so who can help him?   (Laughs)

Father: And you think that’s funny do you? (Slamming hands down on the table and rose sharply now towering over Teacher)

Teacher: N…n…n…no of c…course not Mr I was just saying the fact that he is a bit loud, occasionally. (Shaking while she said it)

Father: Well, I’m glad that’s settled. From now on he is the best and bright student you have ever taught. Oh yes, I nearly forgot if he gets low grades in his any subject you could easily change them. Couldn’t you? (Sitting down again lowering his voice to a whisper with the last 2 sentences)

Teacher: No o o I mean ………         

Father: Is that a problem? (Saying it forcefully)

Teacher: Yes actually, you see I’m unable to do that, so, sorry but I think you should leave now.

Father: Are you a stupid little teacher, telling me to leave? You don’t have the right to say that to me! (Slaps her then tips the table over.)

Teacher: Calm it down or I’ll call head teacher!

Father: You can’t do anything you silly little ugly………..!

Son: Dad! Dad! She is my teacher. Please don’t!

Teacher: Stop it you evil monster! Why did you came,

Son: obviously for parents and teacher meeting (in low voice)

 Teacher: Where’s your mum? (Asking to student)

Son: Well my mum is busy shopping!
Teacher (Tears running down her face) ran to call Head master

Son: That was cool dad.

Let’s go home son, if you don’t want to see your father in jail.

How the theme of Desire has been explored in the short stories

Desire is a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.

In this task I have been asked to describe how the theme of desire has been explored in the short stories. Before I start my task I will briefly summarise the both stories. Theme of desire in these short stories is powerful, controlling and destructive.

Firstly I will summarise the Necklace:

This is a story about a Mme Losiel who has desire is to look wealthy and rich person. One day her husband brings an invitation from ministry of public to attend a party. She borrowed a necklace from her friend and she lost it at party. As a result to replace her friend’s necklace her life was ruined.

Secondly I will summarise Marionette INC:

This is a story about Smith and his friend Braling. Both have desire to get rid of their wives for some time. Braling shows Smith how he tricked his wife with a robot to go to Rio for a month alone. Smith decided to buy a robot for himself. He planned to take money from joint bank account then he realizes that he has been tricked by his wife own robot. On other hand Braling’s robot reveals his plan to travelling to Rio with Braling’s wife.
